YourNextAway (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Diablo Aquila Ltd (United Kingdom), Company No: 17010899. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect information when you use the YourNextAway website and mobile application.

Affiliate Disclosure

YourNextAway contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission when you click a link to a third-party provider, such as a flight, hotel, ticket, experience, transfer or insurance provider, and complete a purchase. This does not normally increase the price you pay.

Affiliate commissions help fund the development and operation of YourNextAway.

1. Information We Collect

Email address and account identifier when you create or use an account
Authentication and session information
Profile preferences, including home city, preferred airport, currency and travel preferences
Trips, saved items and information you choose to add to your account
Device, operating system and app version information
Optional mobile-app usage analytics, only when you positively enable Usage Analytics
Optional mobile-app crash diagnostic information, only when you positively enable Crash Diagnostics
IP address and approximate city or country-level location
Affiliate link interactions and referral attribution
Information included in support or feedback requests

We do not intentionally collect payment card details, government identification documents or precise GPS location.

Create and maintain user accounts
Save profile preferences and trip information
Provide football travel, fixture and trip-planning functionality

Analyse product usage and performance where you have enabled optional Usage Analytics

3. Affiliate and Advertising Tracking

YourNextAway may include affiliate links and may display advertising. Third-party providers and affiliate networks may use referral identifiers, cookies or similar technologies to attribute clicks and purchases.

When you leave YourNextAway and visit a third-party provider, that provider’s own privacy policy and terms apply.

4. Cookies, SDKs and Similar Technologies

Our website and application may use cookies, software development kits and similar technologies for authentication, application operation, security, affiliate attribution and, where applicable, optional analytics and diagnostics.

In the YourNextAway mobile app, Firebase Usage Analytics and Crash Diagnostics are separate optional choices. Both remain off unless you positively enable the relevant choice. You can enable either, both or neither, and declining does not prevent normal use of the app.

The first-run privacy control provides a clear way to continue without sharing. Your choices are saved on your device and can be changed later under Account & Privacy. If you switch either choice off, future collection for that category is disabled. This optional Firebase telemetry is used for product improvement and technical diagnostics, not for advertising or profiling.

Browser cookies can usually be controlled through browser settings. Disabling technologies required for a requested feature may prevent that feature from working correctly. Optional mobile telemetry can be changed independently without preventing normal use.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and encrypted network connections where supported.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect access to their email account and device.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may provide limited information to service providers that help us operate YourNextAway, including:

Cloud hosting and database providers
Authentication providers
Analytics and diagnostic providers where you have enabled the relevant optional mobile telemetry choice
Affiliate networks and travel providers
Professional advisers and legal authorities where required by law

7. Data Retention

Account and profile data is normally retained while your account remains active.

When an account is deleted, account data under our control is deleted or anonymised without unnecessary delay. Limited records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, security, accounting, legal compliance or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period as part of routine backup and disaster recovery processes before being overwritten.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, including under UK data protection law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing of your personal data.

9. Delete YourNextAway Account

YourNextAway users can permanently delete their account from inside the mobile application.

In the app, open:

Profile
Open the profile menu
Select Account & Privacy
Select Delete account
Complete both confirmation steps

This process permanently deletes the YourNextAway authentication account and associated online account data under our control. The app also attempts to remove locally stored trips, saved items and Wallet attachments from that device.

Users who cannot access the app may request account deletion by emailing db@yournextaway.com from the email address connected to their YourNextAway account.

Include the words “Account deletion request” in the email subject. We may need to verify that the requester controls the account before completing the request.

Data that must be retained for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes may be kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes. Routine backup copies may remain temporarily until they are overwritten.

10. Children

YourNextAway is intended for users aged 18 years and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as YourNextAway develops or when legal and operational requirements change. The date at the top of this page will show when it was most recently updated.
